Currently, the department is seeking the following positions:
Deputy Medical Examiner
The Department of Pathology and Anatomical Sciences at the University of Missouri – Columbia is seeking an academically-oriented forensic pathologist. The duties of this position include autopsy service, deputy medical examiner services, and teaching of students and residents. Appointment as Deputy Medical Examiner of Boone County, Deputy Medical Examiner of Callaway County, are anticipated. Applicants should be committed to teaching, scholarship, and research. Prospective candidates must have an MD, DO, or MD/PhD, be qualified for an unrestricted Missouri medical license, and board certified/eligible in forensic pathology by the time of appointment. The environment provides substantial opportunities for intellectual creativity and research. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
