Hometown:  Agenebode, Nigeria
Undergraduate School:  University of Benin, Nigeria
Medical School:  University of Benin, Nigeria

Personal Statement:  I went to medical school in Benin City, Nigeria. I came to the United States about 5 years ago, and worked at Boyce and Bynum Pathology Laboratories here in Columbia. I chose to remain here in my beloved City of Columbia; and yes, in pathology. I have a wonderful wife and an incredibly smart 3yr-old son. I am very passionate about them. Pathology and Soccer are on my “list”.

Hobbies:  Reading, playing and watching soccer.

Why I chose this program:  Columbia is an excellent town to live and raise my family.
Every place is not more than 10 to 15 minute drive away. It so reminds me of Benin City, Nigeria (a college town). The faculty is great.

Professional Interests:    Surgical Pathology, Blood banking

Long term plans:   Not completely decided yet. CP rotation so far is fascinating; however, the art and science of AP, particularly Surgical Pathology is amazing. At the moment, tending towards a fellowship in Surg Path, and possibly end up in an academic setting. Love to teach.
