Personal Statement: I am from a small town in Missouri, and chose to come to the University of Missouri-Columbia after rotating here as a medical student. I have a beautiful wife and daughter Laine, and another baby on the way. I decided to go AP only after I arrived, and have not yet figured out what fellowship I want to go for. I like to spend my free time exercising and flexing my muscles in the mirror. Just ask Van about how cute I am. She calls me "The Mizzou McSteamy."

Hobbies: Spending time with family, running, and research with my BEST friend in residency Allison.

Why I chose this program: The faculty are great and there is a great group of residents to work with.

Professional Interests: Blood banking and lab management

Long-term plans: To be the Chairman of Pathology at MU
